The Genesis

Dr.S.Arulrhaj Health, Education & Research Foundation. is a public charitable trust formed in the year 1995 by a leading Physician in the country Dr S.ArulRhaj, M.D and Late. Mrs.Yaminiamma, The trust has been registered as registered charitable Trust U/S 12 A of the I.T.Act, 1961 in Sl.No.47/1999. They are aspiring for serving the needy community in the field of Education, health care etc. This was created to render services to the poor and down trodden in this part of country including Rural Camps, Free Ops, Education and Rural Centers.

It is working with the following objectives,

• To establish, maintain, run, develop, improve, extend and to aid and assist in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement, extension of Educational Institutions, Health Care Institutions, Schools, Colleges and Hostels for the benefit of students and to award scholarships for the study, research and apprenticeship for all or any of the said purposes.
• To establish, maintain, run, develop, improve, extend, grant donations for and to aid and assist in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement and extension of Hospitals, Clinics, Dispensaries, Maternity Homes, Leper Homes, Homes for the Blind, Deaf and Dumb as well as those mentally retarded and similar institutions affording treatment, cure, rest and other advantages in the way of alleviating the suffering of humanity.
• To establish, maintain, run, develop, extend, grant donations for and to aid in the establishment, maintenance, running, development, improvement, and extension of Libraries, Reading rooms, Recreation Centres and other facilities as are calculated to be of use in imparting education to the Indian Public.
• To build, erect and construct and to aid and assist in the building erection and construction of houses, tenements and places of residence for the poor, destitute and those handicapped in mind or body and to afford them all comforts and amenities.
• To conduct poor feeding and to give food, clothing and cash grants to the poor and to afford relief to people in distress and affected by earthquake, flood, famine, pestilence and other causes and to grant donations for the support of the inmates of the orphanages and similar institutions and societies.
• To provide cash and other moms of relief to the orphans and unemployed without adequate means of sustenance, the poor for the education of their children, their medical needs, and on the occasion of deaths, etc. in their families those who have suffered in accidents.

Dr.S. Arulrhaj Health & Educational Trust implements socio medical among the needy poor through different executive arms like SAH community college, Paramedical College, SAH School for Mentally Disabled, Rural sub centers, Emergency accident relief centers, Medical Camps, Awareness Camps. Due to impact of our intervention, the tireless work and dedication of serving among the community, we have come out to the present situation which is able to radiate in the field of health care and education.

SAH is a unit of the Dr.S.Arulrhaj Health & Educational Foundation, a 100 bedded multi speciality hospital which has been serving to the patients of southern Districts of Tamilnadu with quality wide spectrum of roles in medical discipline as well as social upliftment through the comprehensive services in preventive and curative aspects.
